Princess Estelle learned some sign language while attending Sport Day at Haga Park on September 7 when she stopped by the NS Hephata tent. NS Hephata is a sport club for the deaf and hearing impaired.
Crown Princess Victoria explained to Princess Estelle that sign language is a language for the deaf and hearing impaired. Prince Daniel also tried to spell his name, but had some difficulty. Princess Estelle was given a packet with signs so she could continue practicing at home.
Princess Estelle is also learning English from her Australian nanny.
